Setanta semi-final to be televised

Football fans can expect more live action on their TVs with the announcement from the Setanta Sports Cup committee that Shamrock Rovers home first leg tie against Derry City on Monday, April 16, will be broadcast live on Setanta Sports (kick-off 7.45pm)

 

Shamrock Rovers booked their place in the semi-finals after defeating Cliftonville 3-1 on penalties after drawing 2-2 on aggregate. Derry City had a more convincing victory over Linfield winning out 4-2 over the two legs.

 

In the other semi-final. Crusaders will host Sligo Rovers on April 16th with the return legs of both games taking place on the 23rd April.
