Bray seal new sponsorship deal

Bray Wanderers have confirmed the club’s new sponsor as Volkswagen and Sinnott Autos in what the Director of Football Pat Devlin has called a fantastic sponsorship deal for the club.

The ‘Seagulls’ and Sinnott Autos dealership, in partnership with Volkswagen, will begin an exciting one year venture that sees Sinnott Autos as the main shirt sponsor of the club.

One of the country’s leading football clubs, Bray Wanderers has won the FAI Cup twice in and has represented Ireland in European competitions. 2011 was a very successful year for Bray Wanderers when they finished in the top six of the Airtricity League and qualified for the first time in the club’s history for the Setanta Sports Cup. This year will be the club’s 8th successive season in the Premier Division of the Airtricity League.

Simon Elliott, Group Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Ireland commented on the sponsorship, saying: “Together with Sinnott Autos, we are thrilled to be sponsoring Bray Wanderers – it’s a club that stands out to us with a strong and memorable national heritage. Similar to our Sligo Rovers sponsorship, this is a direction that the Volkswagen Group has wanted to explore for some time now. We are committed to giving back to local Irish communities and what better way than to do so than supporting great local clubs such as Bray Wanderers.”

Paul Sinnott from Sinnotts Autos said, “We are delighted to sponsor our local club Bray Wanderers and wish them the very best of luck in the current season.”

Pat Devlin, Director of Football at Bray Wanderers commented “We are delighted to be associated with the Volkswagen Group and Sinnott Autos and are looking forward to a very good and exciting partnership in the future. Bray Wanderers is an integral part of the community in Bray and Co. Wicklow and it is a great boost for the club that one of Wicklow’s best known company’s is now our main sponsor. We are confident that the partnership will be a very successful one for the club.”
