Another turbulent off-season for Bohemians but they've managed to secure an agreement that keeps the club alive while they attempt to deal with the burden of the €4million debt that hangs over them. On the field it could be hard to recognise the squad. Severe budget cuts meant the club were just unable to offer contracts that would keep their most talented players at the club.

So there will be a young, fresh-faced look about the Gypsies this term although Owen Heary will bring much-needed experience to the squad in both his playing and coaching capacities. New manager Aaron Callaghan knows the odds will be stacked against them when they come up against the Big Boys this season but already his young side have punched above their weight by knocking Portadown out of the Setanta Cup with wins over the Irish league side both in Dalymount and Shamrock Park.

Bohs will be fearless and the youngsters will play to win games but the league's stronger teams will expose their inexperience. A season of rebuilding ahead for Bohs but they will cause a few teams a few problems.
