Connolly to ref televised encounter

Tom Connolly will have the honour of blowing the first whistle for to kick off the Airtricity League 2012 season on Friday night in Hunky Dorys Park. Connolly will officiate the televised clash between Drogheda United and league champions Shamrock Rovers at the earlier time of 7.05pm.
Elsewhere Neil Doyle will be the man in black in the Brandywell for the encounter of Derry City and Bohemians with Alan Kelly taking charge of the game in Inchicore where St. Patrick's Athletic take on Bray Wanderers.
