Maher to be Player/Coach at Monaghan

Former Bohemians and Sporting Fingal defender Shaun Maher has joined Monaghan United for the coming season as a player coach.
Maher won the League and Cup double playing under Collins at Bohemians in 2000/01 before a six year spell at Bournemouth. In 2009 Maher won another FAI Cup winners medal with Sporting Fingal.
In 2011 he played with Galway United and Limerick FC but made just one league appearance for Pat Scully’s side over the latter half of the season.
