Bohemian manager Aaron Callaghan has completed his squad with the signing of Dave Mulcahy. With his last signing Callaghan has brought in deep experience to add to his youthful squad.

Mulcahy, 34, played most recently with St Patrick’s Athletic, but before that with Bray Wanderers, Cork City and his hometown club, Kilkenny City, among other league teams.

Squad signings have been completed in an eventful week for Bohemians, who beat Portadown to advance to the second round of the Setanta Sports Cup to face Crusaders. The 5 March and 20 March games will pit Aaron Callaghan against a club where he was player and player-manager in the 1990s.

With Derry City’s exclusion from the Europa League, Bohemians expect to be invited to take part, giving Callaghan’s team yet more major challenges but also giving the club welcome additional income.

The Bohemian senior squad now comprises:

Goalkeepers: Craig Sexton; Adam McNulty; Greg Murray.

Defenders: Owen Heary; Derek Pender; Evan McMillan; Robbie Gaul; Neil Harney; Kevin Feely; Danny Joyce; Michael Barker; Luke Byrne; Dan Byrne.

Midfield: Dave Mulcahy; Karl Moore; Adam Martin; Keith Ward; Peter McMahon; Keith Buckley; Roberto Lopes; Stephen Traynor; Ryan McEvoy; Lee Dixon; Dwayne Wilson; Rafael Barreto; Andy Mulligan; Sean Stewart; Correy Davidson.

Forwards: Daniel Corcoran; John O'Connor; David Scully; David Byrne; Keith Murray.
