RTÉ & Setanta announce live coverage

RTÉ Television has confirmed it will broadcast live coverage of the Airtricity League Premier Division fixture between Drogheda United and Shamrock Rovers on the opening day of the league.
On Friday 2nd March reigning champions Shamrock Rovers will travel to Hunky Dorys Park to take on hosts Drogheda United with the match kicking off at 7.05pm live on RTÉ Two. Further details of RTÉ Sport’s coverage of this season’s Airtricity League will be announced next week.
Setanta Sports have also confirmed that the Setanta Sports First Round Second Leg fixture between St. Patrick's Athletic and Cliftonville will be broadcast live with the game now having an earlier kick-off of 7.15pm. Cliftonville lead 1-0 from the first leg.
