Shelbourne have confirmed four new signings as Alan Mathews today finalised his squad for the club's return to the Premier Division.

Paddy Kavanagh and Anto Murphy, signed from Shamrock Rovers and St. Patrick's Athletic respectively, will add much experience out wide while ex-Bohemians player Stephen Hurley will bolster Alan Mathews' options in the centre of midfield. Paul Byrne has also been signed following a short spell in the First Division with Monaghan United.

The club have also confirmed the re-signing of Dean Delany, Paul Skinner and Brendan McGill. Goalkeeper Delany will enter his fifth season as a Shels player having first joined the club in 2008. Skinner and McGill both joined in 2011 following spells with Drogheda United.

All new players are available for tonight's Leinster Senior Cup Fourth Round tie against Wexford Youths which kicks-off at 8pm in Tolka Park.

This brings Shelbourne's total panel to 21 players, with today's announcement also confirming that they have now finalised their squad for the new season.
