Cummins to complete Preston move
Cork City look set to lose hotshot striker Graham Cummins after Preston North End submitted a bid for him earlier today (Monday 30th January).
The League 1 side had been watching the attacker for some time but with just a day until the transfer window cross-channel closes, they've finally made an official offer.
After a spell on trial with Wolves cross-channel, Cummins had returned with the rest of the City squad for pre-season training but was not involved in a friendly against Wexford Youths last week.
In a statement on Monday afternoon, Cork City confirmed that a bid had been accepted. "Cork City FC wish to announce that the club has reluctantly accepted a bid for Graham Cummins from Preston North End for an undisclosed sum. Graham is currently travelling to the UK to discuss personal terms", it read.
A source close to the north-west England side said the offer is believed to be in the range of €100,000.
