Waterford United have added four more players to their squad for 2012 season.

Manager Paul O'Brien has re-signed David Breen and Gary Dunphy and has brought in Ben Ryan and Peter Higgins.

Centre-back Breen and midfielder Dunphy have signed new deals to remain at the club and help push for promotion this season.

New signing Ben Ryan joins the club from Wexford Youths. The ex-Blues Under-20 striker scored 6 league goals for his old club, including a stunning free-kick against his new club back in July.

Fellow new signing Peter Higgins will also hope to challenge for a starting spot in Paul O'Brien's squad. Higgins won a Munster Youth Cup in 2006 with local Waterford club Tramore AFC before heading to Drury University in the US. While there he won an Inter-Collegiate championship, and any number of Collegiate representative honours, before returning home after four years.
