Mervue announce friendlies

Mervue Utd have announced a number of pre-season warm up games ahead of this season’s Airtricity First Division campaign which begins on the 2^nd March.

Johnny Glynn’s side will kick-off with an away friendly against defending Premier Division champions, Shamrock Rovers, at the Tallaght Stadium on Saturday 4^th February.

They will follow that game with another away tie against Premier Division side, Shelbourne, on Friday 17^th February in Tolka Park.

The club have also lined up a pre-season game against a Reading XI in the UK, were Glynn will prepare his side for the new season on a four day training camp, that game will take place on Monday 20^th February.

A fourth pre-season game has also been lined up against another Premier Division side, St Patricks Athletic, at Richmond Park on Friday 24^th February. Kick-off times for all games to be confirmed.

One further pre-season game will be announced shortly by the club.
