Mervue sign 13 for First Division season

Mervue Utd manager Johnny Glynn has confirmed his first two new signings for this season’s Airtricity First Division campaign which begins on the 2nd March.

 

He confirmed that defender Stephen Walsh has signed for the club having played the last two seasons in the Premier Division with city neighbours, Galway Utd.

 

Glynn also confirmed that goalkeeper Ronan Forde has also signed for the club having played the last two seasons across the Corrib at city rivals Salthill Devon.

 

Glynn has also managed to re-sign eleven of last season’s squad as captain Martin Conneely, Pat Hoban, James Casserley, Jason Molloy, Mark Ludden, Alex Lee, Mike Elwood, Barry McEntee, Peter Dravins, Michael Collins and Shane Keogh have all re-signed for the club for the coming season.
