Stephen Bradley is the latest big signing to arrive on Shannonside having penned a two-year deal with Limerick FC.

The former St. Patricks Athletic and Shamrock Rovers midfielder will join up with the squad on Wednesday evening for pre-season training. Bradley’s performances earned him a spot in the Premier Division Team of the Year last season, and his presence will surely add an incentive for people all around Limerick city and county to come to Jackman Park this season.

Bradley featured no less than thirty times last season for St. Pats in the league alone, and the Inchicore club will surely feel his loss. While Limerick go from strength to strength, the First Division title seems to be a far more realistic target for the Blues this season, having missed out on the crown by just three points last year.

Speaking about the signing, Limerick FC chairman said: “This is another positive for Limerick FC; I am delighted that we continue to attract players of Stephen's calibre. His experience will be an asset to the club and also will assist in the continued development of our young players.”

Stephen also expressed his delight at the transfer by adding: “I am delighted to sign for Limerick FC and to be part of the overall exciting developments at the Club. Pat O'Sullivan has a great passion for the work the Club is doing both on and off the field. I have known Pat Scully for many years and look forward to working with him. It's my ambition to be back in Premier Division football with Limerick in 2013.”
