Drogheda appoint Commercial Manager

Drogheda United have appointed Philip Nolan as Commercial Manager.
Nolan, who was Commercial Manager with St Patrick’s Athletic for 8 years, enjoyed great success with the Inchicore side. During his time at Richmond Park, he successfully negotiated several major sponsorship deals, bringing in significant funds and raising the profile of the club with his various media and publicity campaigns.
In early 2011 Nolan accepted the Commercial Manager position at Sporting Fingal but, unfortunately, his appointment came too late for the now defunct club. Following the demise of Fingal, he spent the 2011 season as Commercial Manager with UCD.
Speaking after his appointment Nolan said ”I am excited about becoming involved with Drogheda United. It is a club at the centre of the community, with a very loyal fan base and those at the heart of the club have shown extraordinary commitment and passion over the last number of years. I look forward to working with the club and with the people of Drogheda to make Drogheda United a force in Irish football again”.
