Disciplinary Committee Decisions
The following suspensions and sanctions were issued by the Disciplinary Committee at their meeting on Wednesday, 6th August 2008. Suspensions are effective as and from Wednesday, 20th August unless otherwise stated. Suspensions are effective at first team level unless otherwise stated.
Paul Caffrey (Sporting Fingal) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.
Martin Cambridge (Technical Official, Cobh Ramblers) suspended for FOUR (4) competitive matches as a result of being removed from the technical area v Bray Wanderers (26.07.08). For this four match suspension, Mr Cambridge is to remain away from the dressing room, technical area and pitch for at least two hours before the matches as well as during the matches and for one hour after the matches and must be seated in the stands.
Alan Cawley (Bray Wanderers) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of having been sent off v Cobh Ramblers (26.07.08). Automatic suspension in next eircom League of Ireland match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 20th August.
Barry Clancy (Monaghan United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.
Michael Clarke (Drogheda United) suspended for ONE (1) A Championship match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.
Cobh Ramblers were fined €50 as a result of a late start to the fixture v U.C.D. (27.07.08). (A Championship).
Cobh Ramblers were fined €150 for team misconduct (six players carded) v U.C.D. (27.07.08). (A Championship).
Cobh Ramblers were fined €500 as a result of an object been thrown at the referee v Bray Wanderers (26.07.08).
Chris Deans (Sporting Fingal) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.
