Shelbourne confirm Shortall signing

Shelbourne have this evening confirmed that signing of Brian Shortall.
The defender joins the club having spent last season with St. Patrick’s Athletic. The 26-year-old follows on from the recent signing of Glenn Cronin and has penned a deal with the club for 2012 Premier Division season.
The statement read:
"Shelbourne Football Club have this evening confirmed that Brian Shortall has become a Shelbourne player for the coming season.
An accomplished defender, Shortall (26) joins the Reds from St.Patrick's Athletic, where he has plied his trade since joining the Inchicore club from UCD in November 2010 - having joined 'The Students' from Cherry Orchard on a scholarship programme in 2005.
Brian, who can play anywhere in defence, made 39 appearances for Pete Mahon's 'Saints' in the 2011 season."
