The Galwayman had a huge part to play in Rovers’ qualification for the Europa League Group Stages, scoring the penalty which secured the win against Partizan Belgrade.
O’Donnell expressed his delighted at re-signing for the Hoops.

“I’m delighted to have signed again”, O’Donnell said. “Last season was the most exciting year of my career and I’m looking forward to another great season next year. It was great to retain the league this year, and hopefully we are able to do it again in 2012. That will certainly be our aim anyway.”
