Romauld Boco has joined Sligo Rovers for the 2012 Airtricity Premier Division season.

It will be a third spell in The Showgrounds for the Benin international. The "King of Benin" makes the move to Rovers from Chinese club Shanghai East Asia and is the third new signing for 2012.

Boco helped Rovers to a double success in 2010 and was key to the club securing both the FAI and EA Sports Cup.

He was a proven performer for the Bit o' Red and manager Paul Cook, talking to Sligo official website, was thrilled to add him for next season.

"I'm delighted to bring Romauld back to Sligo. He was keen to re-join the club and I know he is determined to do well for us again.

"We want to improve the squad and I think everyone knows what he brings us.

"The squad is coming together and I think it shows the type of player we want at Sligo Rovers."
