O'Brien to remain as Blues boss
Waterford United have tonight confirmed that Paul O'Brien is to take charge of the first team for the 2012 Airtricity League campaign.
Following a board meeting tonight, the Blues have rubber-stamped the re-appointment of the management team which took over first team affairs following the departure of Stephen Henderson last May. O'Brien will once again be joined by assistant manager and goalkeeping coach Billy Hearne, and first team coach Alan Barry, as the trio look to steer the Blues to the Premier Division.
A highly respected and qualified coach, who holds the UEFA 'A' licence since 2010, Paul is already busy both with re-signing many of the players from last season's squad, and with strengthening that squad for the new season ahead, and the club will hopefully be making announcements on both fronts in the next few days.
