The 2012/13 UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship first qualifying round draw and the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship second qualifying round have both been made this morning in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Republic of Ireland Under-17's have been drawn in Group 9 and will face Finland, Belarus and Georgia. Ireland were in the top pot for the draw due to their seeding of 6th in Europe.

The 11 group winners and five runners-up with the best record against the sides first and third in their section will contest the second qualifying round in Spring 2013. Four teams will eventually contest the finals, in Nyon from 25 to 28 June 2013.

The Under-19's are due to face Denmark, Switzerland and Serbia in Group 4. Ireland qualified for the second round after topping their first round group with a 100% record, defeating Portugal, Hungary and Israel, conceding only one goal in the process.

All six group winners and the runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their section will join hosts Turkey in the finals from 2 to 14 July.
