Fenlon hints Ndo could end up at Bohs
Bohemians manager Pat Fenlon last night hinted that midfielder Joseph Ndo could yet end up a Bohs player at some stage in the future.
Ndo made it clear to St Patricks Athletic in early July that he no longer wished to stay at the Inchicore club, instead preferring a move to Bohemians to join up with former manager Fenlon.
Pats went on to reject an official offer in the sum of Euro 5,000 from the Phibsborough club, with Pats boss Johnny McDonnell claiming the paltry amount was disrespectful towards the player. Pats CEO Richard Sadlier placed a value of Euro 80,000 on the Cameroon midfielder.
Bohs concentrated their efforts elsewhere, instead signing Lithuanian player Mindaugas "Michael" Kalonas from FK Riga on a deal that lasts until the end of November. Kalonas is an creative, attacking midfielder.
Meanwhile, Ndo chose to join Shamrock Rovers on loan until the end of the season. Derry City were also believed to have been interested.
Following his sides three nil win over Cobh Ramblers, Fenlon, when asked about the player said - "I'm not going to discuss another player, he is a Pats player on loan to Rovers, thats the way it is, so we will see what happens.
Ndo and his new team mates face the league leaders this Tuesday night at Dalymount Park, kick off 8pm. The game was originally due to have been played on June 27th, but was postponed due to Bohs involvement in the Intertoto Cup.
