Shelbourne have announced on their official website that they have been reinstated to the FAI Cup. The statement reads:

Shelbourne Football Club would like to announce that representatives of the club today met with the Appeals Committee of the FAI and put forward their case for reinstatement of the club to the 2011 Ford FAI Senior Cup.

We are delighted to announce that we were, tonight, verbally informed that our appeal had been successful
