Peamount United will play the home leg of their UEFA Women's Champions League last 32 tie with French giants Paris Saint-Germain in Tallaght Stadium. The first leg in Dublin will take place on Wednesday September 28 with a 7.45pm kick-off. Tickets only cost €5 for adults and €2 for children.

Peamount manager Eileen Gleeson insists Tallaght Stadium is the ideal setting for the historic game and has called on Irish football fans to come out in force on the night.

"Tallaght Stadium is an absolutely brilliant choice for the home leg as it is a venue worthy of such a huge occasion," said Gleeson.

"The location is perfect for Peamount fans and club members and we are hopeful that as many fans as possible come out and cheer on the girls.

"It is such a huge occasion though that it has become about more than Peamount now and hopefully Irish fans come out in big numbers as it will be a huge night for Irish football.

"The girls have done incredibly well to get this far and we intend to showcase on the night the quality that got us this far to those who didn't see us in Slovenia."

Peamount became the first Irish team to reach this stage of the competition following their runners up in finish in Group 3 in Slovenia last month.

Despite a last-gasp 1-0 defeat to eventual group winners Rayo Vallecano de Madrid in the opening game of the group, emphatic wins over hosts ZNK Krka (7-0) and Estonians Parnu JK (5-1) saw the girls qualify as one of two best runners up along with all the group winners.

Tickets are on sale at Peamount United FC's clubhouse shop in Greenogue Industrial Estate, Newcastle. Further outlets will be announced in the coming weeks. Extratime.ie will keep you up to date and you can also check out www.peamount.com for updates.
