Bohemians -v- Derry City

It should be a very interesting encounter when in-form Bohemians entertain league leaders Derry City in the Airtricity Premier League at Dalymount Park on Friday night (kick off 7.45.p.m)

Pat Fenlon's side have won five of their last six league games and bounced back from their recent defeat against Shamrock Rovers with an impressive 2-1 win in Sligo last Saturday night. The Gypsies also earned a respectable 1-1 draw against Everton on Monday night.

However, Keith Buckley, who suffered a broken nose against David Moyes' side will miss the match against Derry. Stephen Traynor will also miss the game with an ankle injury. Anto Flood, who came on as a sub against Sligo and scored against Everton, may well start for Bohs.

Derry won five of their last six league games, and they drew the other against Dundalk. The Candystripes currently lead head the table on goal difference from Shamrock Rovers. They will continue to be without Gareth McGlynn who is still sidelined with a knee injury. Kevin Deery is doubtful because a thigh strain and Ruaidhri Higgins is struggling with a virus.

Manager Stephen Kenny is looking forward to the match against Bohemians, but is also expecting a tough encounter "This is the first of two crucial away games, with Sligo next up. Bohs are confident and we are in good form. This match will have a real edge to it and it won't be for the faint-hearted," revealed the Candystripes boss.
