Lovell departs as Limerick Asst Manager
Limerick 37 assistant manager has today announced his decision to leave his post at the high-flying club stating personal reasons for his shock decision. The announcement comes only 24 hours before Limerick’s crucial home game against Wexford Youths at Jackman Park.
In a statement which appeared on their official website www.limerick37fc.ie the club said “Limerick37 would like to announce that assistant manager Trevor Lovell has left the club due to personal reasons. Limerick37 would like to thank Trevor for all his hard work and his big contribution to Limerick this season. Limerick37 would like to take this opportunity to wish Trevor all the best in the Future.”
Supporters will welcome this statement as there were initial fears that Trevor Lovell’s sudden departure was a sign of unrest in the club. It is now clear that it was due to personal reasons beyond the club’s control.
Limerick 37 are the in-form team in the First Division and the club’s supporters are now hoping that Lovell’s departure does not disrupt this pattern. Trevor Lovell has been recently praised for his part in Limerick’s recent results as the Mid-West club continue to climb the table.
