Eircom sponsorship of the League in doubt

The FAI this evening have released a statement in reply to the speculation that eircom are to end their sponsorship of the national league.
In the statement, the FAI refused to confirm that eircom have decided to not renew the deal. The statement reads. "We are currently in discussions with eircom on all aspects of sponsorship. The talks are at an advanced stage and we won’t be commenting any further until they have concluded.".
