Ronan Forde (Salthill Devon)

Peter Hutton (Finn Harps)
James Casserley (Mervue United)
Alan Byrne (Monaghan United)

Daryl Horgan (Cork City)
David Cassidy (Shelbourne)
John Mountney (Mervue United)
Gearóid Morrissey (Cork City)
Jordan Keegan (Monaghan United)

Philly Hughes (Shelbourne)
Blaine Curtis (Finn Harps)

The result of the weekend came for Monaghan United down in Limerick. Jordan Keegan and Alan Byrne were the star performers on the night. The latter limited Limerick to long range efforts while Keegan created havoc down the left side all evening.

League leaders Shelbourne once again showed their quality; David Cassidy and Philly Hughes maintain their spots in the Team of the Week, as does Devon keeper Ronan Forde. Despite him conceding four goals, the young stopper produced top class saves to deny Shels for long spells.

Finn Harps recorded a well deserved away win at Ferrycarrig Park. Blaine Curtis grabbed both goals while Peter Hutton kept Youths at bay for the entirety of the clash.

James Casserley and John Mountney were so impressive in Mervue's draw against Waterford, that they were then called upto the Irish U18's squad for the forthcoming friendly against Wales. A credit to the players, and the accolade reflects their performances on the night.

Cork City pulled away from Limerick thanks to a 3-1 win in Flancare Park. Daryl Horgan impressed for his new side, as he as joined on loan from Sligo Rovers, grabbing two goals in the process. Gearóid Morrissey also grabbed a goal, and put in an excellent performance for the Leesiders.
