Man City announce Super Cup squad

F.A. Cup winners, Manchester City, have announced their squad to travel to the Aviva Stadium this bank holiday weekend as they prepare to come up against both Inter Milan and the Airtricity XI at the inaugural Dublin Super Cup.

Fans favorites Joe Hart, Nigel De Jong, David Silva and Yaya Toure are all included along with Mario Balotelli, City’s hugely promising and talented superstar. Fans will also get to see new defensive signings, Gael Clichy and Stefan Savic run out in blue for the first time on this side of the Atlantic.

With speculation mounting on new transfer targets all the time, the club management have interestingly left one space open for a fifth striker to be included in the squad to play at the tournament, which will be broadcast to over 160 territories around the world.

Celtic will also be in Dublin to take on the Airtricity League XI and Inter Milan with all three visiting clubs bringing their silverware with them. Celtic will bring the Scottish Cup, Manchester City will have the FA Cup in attendance whilst Inter Milan will also be taking the World Club Cup in addition to the Italian Cup to Irish shores.

The Dublin Super Cup promises to offer football fans the chance to see world class footballers competing on home soil and tickets will give fans the chance to see all four teams play on either day with two fixtures taking place on each.
