World Cup draw 2014 on Saturday

The seedings have been decided for Saturday’s World Cup qualification draw which will take place in Rio de Janeiro at 7pm Irish time and Giovanni Trapattoni’s men find themselves in pot three.

The seedings have been decided based on FIFA’s world rankings and both Northern Ireland and Scotland have been placed in Pot four, with Wales ending up in Pot 6 having tumbled to joint 112th along side the Faroe Islands.

Spain, Netherlands, Germany, England, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Norway, Greece.

POT TWO
France, Montenegro, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia, Turkey, Serbia, Slovakia.

POT THREE
Switzerland, Israel, Rep Ireland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Bosnia-Herzogovina, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary.

POT FOUR
Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Lithuania, Albania, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Austria, Poland.

POT FIVE
Armenia, Finland, Estonia, Cyprus, Latvia, Moldova, FYR Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Faroe Islands.
