Extra child tickets released for Super Cup

DUBLIN SUPER CUP RELEASES SECOND WAVE OF UNDER-16 CHILDREN CATEGORY TICKETS Organisers of the inaugural Dublin Super Cup have released a secondary allocation of children’s tickets in all general admission areas due to high demand.

With the under-16 Category D tickets having all sold out, the offer has now been extended to the rest of the Aviva Stadium, with a special rate of €20 now available to all under-16s sitting in category A,B and C sections.

With Celtic, Inter Milan, Manchester City and an Airtricity League XI all lining up for the tournament, excitement is clearly building as fans of all ages will get the chance to watch the likes of Yaya Toure, David Silva, Wesley Sneijder, Samuel Eto’o and Georgios Samaras in action.

The Dublin Super Cup takes place across the Bank Holiday weekend on the 30th and 31st July, with each ticket covering two high-quality football matches as well as a host of exciting entertainment, including a performance from Mary Byrne on the 31st.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon said: “This is something that we are very excited about, the club is steeped in Irish roots but the connection has been lost a little bit in recent years so it is great to be able to bring the first team back. We also have a few Irish players in the squad who know what it is all about and we are very excited because we have a huge fan-base in Ireland and we hope to see them all in a couple of weeks.”

“We will be playing at the Aviva which is a great stadium and against a great team in Inter Milan. We also come up against a team made up of the pick of the Irish League so it should be a great tournament and one that everyone is looking forward to.”

The new allocation means that children’s tickets can now be bought for just €20 with any Category A, Category B and Category C adult tickets priced at €65, €55 and €50 respectively.
