Galway United have confirmed that Gary Curran, Karl Moore, Brian Cash and Shaun Maher have been released from the club.
“I have to thank the pros that have left the football club, I think they've all gone on to good clubs”, manager Sean Connor said. (Shaun) Maher and Shaun Kelly have gone to Limerick, Karl Moore looks like he is going to go to Yeovil, there has been interest from Pat's and Derry for him. Greg Fleming is over at Bradford City. So all the players have gone to decent clubs, and they're good players.”

Galway United thank Gary, Karl, Brian and Shaun for their contributions on the pitch since March, and their co-operation in difficult times over recent weeks. We wish the four lads all the best and hope to see them back at Terryland Park at some stage in the future.
