Cook snaps up free agent Powell

Sligo Rovers have confirmed that Conor Powell has joined the club until the end of the season.
The former Bohemians and Colchester United defender was presented to The Showgrounds crowd on Saturday night at half-time in the win over Drogheda and will provide a major boost to Paul Cook’s squad.
Cook said: “Conor is a player I have admired for some time. He gives us added options on the left-side and increased competition in the squad is vital when you consider the number of games coming up."
“He is a proven top-class player in this league and I know he will be keen to hit the ground running so I’m delighted to bring him in.”
