Bray Wanderers will be hoping to bounce back from three successive
defeats when they entertain in form Sligo Rovers at the Carlisle
Grounds on Friday night. (Kick off 7.45pm)
Those three league defeats for Pat Devlin's men, which came against Bohemians, St. Pats and Dundalk, have seen them slip to seventh in the Premier League table. Adam Mitchell will continue to miss out through suspension after he was sent off against St. Patricks Athletic last Friday night. Sligo on the other hand look like a side that are ready to really challenge for the title, especially after last Friday night's 2-0 win at home to champions Shamrock Rovers. Paul Cook's men currently lie third in the Premier League table, just four points behind league leaders St. Patricks Athletic.
Sligo are unbeaten in their last seven league and cup games, having won five of those matches. They followed their win over the Hoops with a 2-1 victory over Shelbourne in the League Cup on Monday night.
Left back Iarfhlaith Davoren is a doubt for Sligo after missing the wins against Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne. Both sides have already met each other twice this season in the Premier League. It finished 0-0 in the Carlisle Grounds back in March. However Sligo were 3-1 winners when the two sides met at the Showgrounds on May 10th.
