Both Bohemians and Drogheda United come into Friday night's clash at Dalymount Park on the back of midweek victories in the Airtricity League (kick off 7.45). Bohs beat Bray 2-1 on Monday night at the Carlilse Grounds, while Drogheda beat third from bottom UCD 3-1 at United Park.

Despite the fact that Drogheda lie 2rd from bottom of the table, Bohemians manager Pat Fenlon gave credit to United and their manager Mick Cooke. “Mick (Cooke) has them organised and they’re picking up results. He’s a good manager but it’s taken him a while, he came in late. It’ll be a difficult game for us but we expect nothing different from any team in the league” revealed the Bohs boss. Fenlon is also hoping for an improvement to his team's home form. “Our home record is not the best and we want to change that if we can.”

Chris O' Connor will miss the game for Bohs with a facial injury. Striker Anto Flood, who missed the win at Bray is doubtful with a groin strain. New signing Steve Hurley may make his first home appearance for the Gypsies.

Drogheda secured their first home league win of the season against UCD on Tuesday but manager Mick Cooke isn't getting carried away “Our first home win was a long time coming to be honest, but it's great to have it now. The lads are slowly getting there and adapting to the standard of the Premier Division. But we aren't getting carried away just yet.” Cooke told the United website.

Mark O'Brien is suspended for Drogheda after he was sent off against UCD on Tuesday night. Jack Flynn will also miss the game for the visitors through injury. It should be worth noting that Drogheda were victorious in their last two away games in the league against Glaway and local rivals Dundalk.
