Staunton returns to Dundalk

Former Irish International and manager Steve Staunton will return to Dundalk FC in July as part of the club's Oriel Park 75th Anniversary celebrations.
Staunton departed Dundalk in 1986, signing for Liverpool, and he will be kitting out with the latter's Legends side as they face a Dundalk Legends team from 1994-1996. The game will be played in Oriel Park on Saturday 23rd July (kick-off 3.30pm).
The game will also see Dundalk's Whiston-born manager Ian Foster taking to the field, having spent ten years in the underage setup at Anfield.
