Mike Kerley’s men will be looking to keep up their eircom First Division performances of late, having recently beaten Dundalk away and destroying Kildare at home last week.

Shels’ however are looking to turn around the poor form that’s halted their previously dominant charge for automatic promotion. Last weeks draw at Waterford tied the top three to within one point of each other.

Shels’ have no injury worries and the only absentee from the available squad will be Alan Keely, who will serve the second of a two week additional ban, as a result of his red card in the FAI cup game with Dundalk.

Left winger Gary McCabe, who joined the club earlier this week on loan from Bray Wanderers, and David McAllister, who joined on loan from Drogheda United last week, are both available for selection.

As for the visitors, Wayne Colbert will face a late fitness test and Paddy Purcell took a full part in training this week but won’t be ready for a while yet. On a brighter note, Kerley welcomes three new signings into the side this week: Thomas Lyons; Tony O'Mahoney and Jamie Wunsch.

Kick Off at Tolka Park this Friday is 8pm
