Blues confirm McSherry signing
Waterford United have confirmed the signing of winger Adam McSherry.
The Blues have added 23-year-old midfielder to the squad after the recent losses of Keith Quinn and Michael Rafter and bring the squad to 19.
McSherry signs, as expected, as a free agent having just helped his Carrick United side to the double of the Munster Senior Cup and the Waterford & District Junior League title, defeating Cork City and Limerick on their way to the Munster success.
The naturally left-footed wide midfielder, can play as effectively up front, is noted for his goalscoring, passing and tackling abilities, and in addition is widely regarded as one of the best dead ball experts in the Waterford League.
McSherry is expected to be available for selection for the trip for Finn Harps on Saturday night and joins up with former Carrick United teammate Michael Coady in the Blues squad.
