Ahead of tonights game against Shamrock Rovers at Tolka Park, Cobh Ramblers manager Stephen Henderson has confirmed that new signings Colin O'Brien and Daryl Kavanagh are in contention for a place in the starting line up.

O'Brien joins on loan from Cork City until the end of the season. Kavanagh, previously of Waterford Utd, was most recently on the books of Waterford side Carrick.

Midfielder Gareth Cambridge has left the club, however centre back Brian McCarthy remains, and may be involved tonight.

Henderson himself is still serving a touchline ban, however for the first time in a number of weeks Ramblers have no players suspended. Kevin Murray and Michael Mulcorny were both suspended for last weeks home game against Sligo Rovers. Murray is expected to start, while Mulcornys chances of being involved are rated as fifty-fifty - he is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Davin O'Neill is also back in contention. He was dropped from the squad last week after a training ground disagreement. Henderson explained - " Davin needed to cool down, he went away, he did that, and now he is back".
