The League Cup Quarter Final will be a welcome break from a disappointing league campaign for Galway United as they take on Bray Wanderers in Terryland Park on Tuesday evening, kick-off 19:45. The Tribesmen are at the bottom of the eircom Premier League having managed to only register one win so far in 16 games.

Jeff Kenna will have to plan without Marc McCulloch and Ciaran Foley due to injury. Last Friday, Galway lost to defending champions, Drogheda United, but Jeff Kenna was pleased with his sides performance.

"We played well on Friday and were unlucky to lose the game. We have progressed well in both cup competitions and are really looking forward to tomorrow night’s match. I will be looking for the same level of performance and if so we should get the result we need to progress."

Bray Wanderers also come into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat, having lost to Finn Harps on Friday night. Eddie Gormley will be without the suspended Mark Duggan. Colm Tresson is sidelined with a hamstring injury whilst Chris O’Connor is on duty with Australia’s Olympic squad.

Gormley welcomes back Kevin Doherty, Gary McCabe and Ronan Ivory, who all missed out last week due to suspension.

"I am looking forward to the game and am delighted to welcome back the three who missed Friday's game as it now gives me better options".

The bookies have placed both teams at 6-4, whilst a draw will get you odds of 11-5. The Extratime.ie prediction is a Bray Wanderers win.

The game kicks off at 19:45.
