Hoops link up with Rubycard

Shamrock Rovers have teamed up with Rubycard, the pre-paid Mastercard, in a partnership which will provide funding for the club and savings for supporters.
Every card purchased through the club will be emblazoned with the famous green and white of Shamrock Rovers and the club crest – or fans can design their own card with their favourite Hoops pic.
And every time a Hoops fan uses their Rubycard the club will receive a financial reward.
The cards will be available to purchase in the Shamrock Rovers Club Megastore for €9.99, while the first 300 people to buy the new black away jersey will receive a free card, as will anyone who spends €50 or more in the Megastore (the store is located at Tallaght Stadium) in May.
Shamrock Rovers marketing manager, Mark Lynch said: “We’re delighted to be associated with this new venture; we believe it will be a winning combination, with benefits to us and our fans. I’m sure many of them are already saving for the away leg of the Champions League tie in July and this is an excellent way of putting money away for the trip; while signing up with Rubycard also gives a €12 saving, per return flight with Ryanair.”
