Extratime.ie's Great Big League of Ireland History Project

Extratime.ie is embarking on a quest to create a comprehensive archive on the history of the League of Ireland. We believe our league's history is vital to preserve and whilst we continue to bring you the best coverage of the present day, we believe we are perfectly positioned to create an archive of the past.
This is where you come in. We need your help! If you have old photos, programmes, stories, or any memorabilia from the past 100 plus years of association football in Ireland, we want you to contact us. We are seeking team line-ups from games, programme articles, photos or even funny or interesting tales that may have been passed down through your family about the league.
Specifically we are looking for:
- Scorers and line-ups from League of Ireland seasons 1921 to 2006 (Premier & First)
- Photos of teams, action shots, grounds and any other related imagery
- Scanned programmes or transcribed stories from programmes from the start of the league till now
- Scans of ticket stubs, photos of jerseys, scans of club crests etc
- Funny/Interesting stories passed down from generations relating to the league
We will begin this journey into the past by releasing results from past league seasons every week until complete. Each week we will aim to build up our archive but we need your help.
