Leinster Senior Cup games postponed

Next week’s Leinster Senior Cup Quarter-Final match between St. Patricks Athletic and Athlone Town has been postponed. Also falling ill to postponement is the clash between Dublin giants Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers.
Athlone Town qualified for the last eight with an impressive home win against Premier Division side UCD at Lissywoolen. A very young Town side overcame the Students thanks to goals from Gary Higgins and Ian Sweeney while Pats coasted past Bray at the Carlisle Grounds by a scoreline of two goals to nil. Ex-Limerick star Daryl Kavanagh and Ian Daly with the goals for the Saints.
In the other fixture, Bohemians had a bye in the fourth round, while the Hoops overcame Dundalk at Oriel Park. Both games, which were scheduled for next week, will now be revised and the dates and times will be announced in due course.
