Fenlon coy on Bohs future

Pat Fenlon was in foul humour after his side lost 1-0 to Galway United, even refusing to answer when questioned over his future as Bohemians manager.

When asked whether he was about to step down as Bohs manager, Fenlon simply said that he was "not prepared to answer that question." Speculation has grown as to whether the former Shels boss is about to end his tenure at the Phibsborough club.

Fenlon was particularly downbeat when speaking about his side's performance on the night. "We didn't play well enough to beat them tonight, I don't think we deserved to lose the game either in fairness... I said at half time not to wait until we go a goal down [to start attacking]. When you're looking for a result you've got to be positive... and we just didn't do that.... we didn't create a lot of chances."

The Bohemians manager, who was previously linked with jobs at SPL sides, has been in charge at Bohemians since 2008. Fenlon previously managed Shelbourne, after a playing career stretching back to 1987 ended at Shels in 2003.
