Cup Champions De La Salle To Be Guests Of Honour At Finn Harps Match
Waterford United have announced that the new Umbro FAI Schools Dr Tony O’Neill Senior Cup champions will be their guests of honour as they face Finn Harps on Friday.
De Le Salle won the trophy for the first ever time as they beat St. Patrick’s College after penalties in Tolka Park on Tuesday.
“Waterford United are proud and delighted to announce that the victorious De La Salle team, fresh from their historic success in the Umbro FAI Schools Dr Tony O'Neill Senior Cup last Tuesday, are to be Guests of Honour at the Airtricity League match against Finn Harps on Friday (March 25th).
The city College lifted the trophy for the first ever time when they held their nerve to see off St. Patrick's College, Cavan, by 8-7 in the penalty shoot-out.”
