Harps prepare for Celtic visit

Finn Harps have urged supporters to arrive early on Sunday for their John Kennedy Testimonial Match against Glasgow Celtic at Finn Park.

The kick-off for the game has been changed to 2pm and not 3pm as was originally announced, and with a large crowd expected, the club have asked fans to come early and enter the ground at specified on match tickets.

Ticket will be available at Friday nights opening Airtricity League fixture v Limerick. Fans are asked to buy tickets in advance of the game from the following outlets:
• Harkins Gala, Ballybofey. • Brian McCormick Sports, Letterkenny, • Books and Charts, Dungloe • Magees, Falcarragh, • Quinn’s Cash and Carry, Navenney St, Ballybofey. • Daly’s service station, Lifford. • Parkside Service Station, Drumkeen • McCarron’s Butchers, Raphoe, • M&M Stores, Killybegs • Melody Maker, Donegal Town. • The Celtic Shop. Derry • Seaview Hotel, Bunbeg

“Naturally everyone was very disappointed when we couldn’t travel in November so it great that both clubs can now focus on making March 6th a memorable occasion.” John Kennedy said.

Finn Harps Chairman Joey Leary says it is an honour for both Finn Harps and Donegal to be chosen as the venue for the Testimonial Game and associated events.

“It’s a great boost for both Finn Harps and the local economy to host the match so I was very grateful to Celtic for working with us to get a suitable date for re-arranged game. As I said before Celtic have a special resonance with a lot of people in the County so I’m sure John and the rest of the Celtic Squad will get a warm Donegal Welcome”
