Revised league fixtures announced

Following the completion of the Club Licensing process, the Football Association of Ireland today issued the revised official 2011 Airtricity League season fixture list.
The Premier Division fixture list remains substantially unchanged following the decision by Sporting Fingal FC not to seek a license and their subsequent replacement by Drogheda United FC. Drogheda United directly replace Sporting Fingal in the fixture list and all other fixtures remain unchanged from the original published list.
However, due to the uneven number of Clubs now competing in the First Division, it has been necessary to produce an entirely new fixture schedule. One team each week will have a bye with Monaghan United having no game on the opening weekend of matches and Longford Town's season finishing a week early.
