Hoops sign Gary O'Neill

Shamrock Rovers have announced the signing of former Sporting Fingal striker Gary O’Neill.
Tallaght has proved to be a happy hunting ground for O’Neill over the past few years. Rovers fans will no doubt remember his equalising goal against the Hoops at the tail end of last season while Tallaght also provided the backdrop for his winning goal against Sligo Rovers in the 2009 FAI Cup final.
O’Neill, who scored 11 league goals for the Ravens last season, joins a forward line up that includes Gary Twigg, Karl Sheppard, Ciaran Kilduff and Dean Kelly.
