Waterford United add two more to squad

Waterford United today completed the signing of Shane Dempsey and Lee Chin.
The young Wexford pair, who both featured in the 3-0 friendly victory over Bandon AFC at the weekend, were signed today to further strengthen the squad for the 2011 season.
Shane Dempsey joins from North End United, but the 21-year-old midfielder will be no stranger to Blues fans having shone many times for Wexford Youths in the Airtricity league, including the full ninety in each of the sides' three meetings last season.
Lee Chin signs from Wexford Bohs. The 20-year-old is a versatile defender who can play anywhere across the back, and who impressed in the left back position in the recent friendly match. He has been a regular in Wexford's Oscar Traynor side for the past couple of seasons.
The signings bring the senior squad size to 20 players. Manager Stephen Henderson has also confirmed that Kevin Waters and John Hayes, both with the squad last season, will not be making a return for the 2011 season
The Blues will make their first appearance at Tallaght Stadium when they face Premier Division champions Shamrock Rovers on Friday Feb 25th.
