Cork City FC have announced the signings of Vinny Sullivan and Simon Holland.

Holland, 19, has represented the club at underage level, and made his senior debut away to Finn Harps towards the end of the 2010 season. Commenting on the signing, City boss Tommy Dunne told CorkCityFC.net that he was pleased to have signed the young midfielder, saying: "Simon is on the player development programme at UCC which is something we would like to get more of our players on. He is a talented young player who we believe can develop and offer something to the team."

Sullivan, 29, joins the club from Waterford United, having previously had a spell at the club in 2006 under Damien Richardson. Having put pen to paper at Bishopstown this morning ahead of the friendly with Cobh Ramblers, Sullivan said: "I trained with the lads for the first time this morning and I would know a lot of them from my previous spell with the club. There’s a good squad here, and we are looking to push on from last season and fight for promotion."

Commenting on Sullivan’s signing, City boss Tommy Dunne said: "Vinny is a good player, who has scored goals for Waterford in this division. He was here before, so he knows the club and he wanted to sign for the club which is important. He is an experienced player and offers us another option up front."
