Breen returns to Waterford United
Waterford United have confirmed that David Breen has re-signed for the club for the 2011 season.
The centre back returns to the Blues for a third spell. ‘Breener’ spent the first half of last season with Wexford Youths before moving to Athone Town for the remainder.
The Waterford-born defender brings a wealth of experience to the club and further strengthens Stephen Henderson’s defensive options ahead of the new season. The signing brings the squad to 18 members. Breen won the First Division title with both Waterford and Kilkenny
Speaking to extratime.ie after announcing the new signing, Stephen Henderson said: "David's experience will be a valuable asset to our squad while putting pressure on our other centre-halves will be his main priority. We are all very happy to welcome David back to his hometown club and I look forward to working with him again."
